Discovery Package
Do you want to discover who your ancestors were?
We can take you back four generations on either your mother or father’s side of your family. You provide us with your immediate family details, usually your parents and grandparents, and we will work back through the Census records as far back as 1841 and provide you with 4 family generations (plus yourself). We’ll then give you a report of our discoveries about your direct line ancestors.
We cannot guarantee that we will find every ancestor but will try to find as many as possible. Your report will be emailed to you in PDF format. You can also opt to have your report printed out and delivered to you. We have a range of colourful presentation folders to make your family discovery report into a beautiful gift and keepsake. We will also provide a summary report of our discoveries and recommend if there are any particularly interesting individuals to follow up.

Endeavour Package
We research one surname in your family (maternal or paternal) as far back as the 1840’s (or further if records are available), including any siblings from each direct ancestor. We search for as many generations as possible – you can expect a minimum of 5 to 7 generations.
You receive a written report, presented in a beautiful keepsake presentation folder containing around 100 pages of research information. You receive your own personal family tree chart in a choice of printed layouts, delivered in a beautiful keepsake preservation tube. You will also receive your family tree data file on a flash drive, which is yours to keep.
If you have previously ordered a Discovery Report, you can upgrade to the Endeavour Package and we will discount your Discovery Report fee.
Terms and conditions
Resolution Package
This is similar to the Endeavour Package but includes both paternal and maternal lines. We research two surnames in your family as far back as the 1840’s, or further if records are available, including any siblings from each direct ancestor. We search for as many generations as possible – you can expect a minimum of 5 to 7 generations for each side of your family.
You receive a written report, presented in a beautiful keepsake presentation folder containing around 200 pages of research information. You receive your own personal family tree chart in a choice of printed layouts, delivered in a beautiful keepsake preservation tube.
You also receive your family tree data file on a flash drive, which is yours to keep.
If you have previously ordered a Discovery Report, you can upgrade to the Resolution Package and we will discount your Discovery Report fee.
Custom Package: Adventure
Mix and match our products and services to make up your own unique package. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and we will offer you a no-obligation fixed price package for your needs. For example:
– if you already have your family tree in GEDCOM file format we can turn it into a beautiful printed wall chart with a choice of layout designs and print finishes
– we can make your family tree into a printed book in a beautiful presentation folder, in a choice of colours
– we can search to establish some facts about your ancestors, for £14 per hour
We can provide copies of historical birth, death and marriage certificates or census records:
– Scotland from £1.50 each per record
– England & Wales from £7 each per record
– Copies of local records £1.50 per page copy of record

Langholm and Eskdale family hisory
We can search local archives in Langholm for a specific enquiry. Records include: valuation rolls, cemetery records, local newspaper ‘Eskdale & Liddesdale Advertiser’ from 1848, parish records, books by local authors, records from personal collections and more. Many of these collections are not available online.
